IN SEARCH OF NEW IP REGIMES
The title of this publication, In Search of New IP Regimes, reflects the need to find solutions to the shortcomings of the present intellectual property system on a global level. The system has become complicated with overlapping protection on several levels: national, regional and global. On the other hand, it has also become fragmented into different forms of protection.
The objective of this publication is to document the work by some of the PhD-students working on a dissertation with an IPR-related topic. The papers by two renowned IPR professors, Graeme Dinwoodie and Thomas Riis, are also included in this publication, based on their presentations in the conference "One right system of IP - mission impossible" in 2008.
