Today's employers are learning to recruit and retain the talent they require by catering to employees' ever-changing benefit needs. Providing comprehensive information regarding the types of benefits U.S. employers offer their employees, this survey breaks down benefits by industry and organization size and includes tables illustrating the percentage of organizations offering benefits on an annual basis over a period of five years. One hundred sixty benefits are covered, including family-friendly benefits, housing benefits, health-care benefits, personal benefits, financial benefits, travel benefits, unusual benefits, and leave benefits. Though not all benefits are offered by all organizations, the increase in the number of benefits--100 percent in just six years--speaks to how complex and important employee benefits have become in today's workforce.
