The volume systematically covers all mononuclear organogermanium compounds with germanium-fluorine bonds as well as all mononuclear triorganogermanium chlorides. Fluorine containing compounds with the generalized formulas Ge R3 F, Ge R2 F2, and Ge R F3 include compounds with different organic goups R including germacyclic compounds, compounds where one or two R groups are replaced by H, and organogermanium-fluoride anions with germanium coordination numbers 5 and 6. Among the more than 300 compounds with the generalized formula Ge R3 Cl, those with three methyl, ethyl, or phenyl groups have been studied in great detail, and comprehensive information is presented in this volume.
