As surgical training continues to evolve to meet the challenges of changing clinical practice and to enhance the efficacy of emerging and melding technological advances such as those in endovascular medicine, the resident and fellow in training (in general surgery, vascular surgery and related fields) will have more need than ever for comprehensive, technique-driven text atlases to guide them through less commonly preformed yet still critical procedures.
