This introductory course on
Business Information Systems explores a variety of topics including: Managerial Decision making, Networks, Software, Information and Project Management and Systems theory. As the course develops, students deal in depth with decisions in functional areas such as Database Management and Systems design. Students will also cover the areas of BIS security, Legal and Ethical issues. They are provided with an array of examples to demonstrate techniques, and to apply the concepts to real situations.
