The 5th Supplementary Series of the Beilstein Handbook (4th Edition) covers the organic compounds reported in the literature from 1960 to 1980. Volumes 20 to 22 cover heterocyclic compounds which contain a nitrogen atom as the only ring-heteroatom. Volume 22, which is divided into several subvolumes, deals with nitrogen heterocycles bearing a large variety of functional groups. Subvolume 22/11 covers the mono-amines, falling in the range CnH2n-16N2 to CnH2n-38N2 inclusive, the poly-amines and the amino-hydroxy-compounds with the general formulas CnH2n+1NO to CnH2n-7NO inclusive. The ring nitrogen atom and the functional groups may be coupled with inorganic compounds or any organic compound described in volumes 1 - 22 in any of the Beilstein Series up to E V 22/11. Das 5. Ergänzungswerk (E V) des Beilstein erfaßt die Literatur der Jahre 1960 bis 1979. In den Bänden 20 bis 22 werden Verbindungen mit einem annularen N-Atom dokumentiert. Der vorliegende Teilband 22/11 beschreibt die Monoamine der Zusammensetzung CnH2n-16N2 bis CnH2n-38N2 dieser Heteroklasse, die Polyamine sowie die Amino-hydroxy-Verbindungen der Zusammensetzung CnH2n+1NO bis CnH2n-7NO. Das annulare N-Atom und die funktionellen Gruppen können mit anorganischen und allen jenen organischen Verbindungen verknüpft sein, die in einem früheren Beilstein-Band als 22/11 beschrieben sind.
