Smart eHealth and eCare Technology are multidisciplinary. Few people have expertise and experience from all fields concerned – technology, healthcare and social sector. The lack of joint understanding has led to technology products not providing expected user-friendly solutions usable in real-life situations and service delivery systems. The symposium tends, in its part, to offer a forum for multidisciplinary discussions enlightening the challenges and potentials from education, entrepreneurship, research and development points of view.
