HIGH UP BY THE CHIMNEY is the tenth collection of poems by finnish poet Jari Pulsa, his second one in english/swedish. He has also written song lyrics in english, e. g. for the Rovaniemi-based rock band Jalla Jalla in the past. He's been awarded many times in national poetry writing contests and has received several art grands. Besides writing poetry this former rock musician likes to play his tenor sax and double bass in jazzy surroundings.
