Muhammad asks Harry Pines to come to Chicago to resolve the puzzle of a woman found strangled dead in her bed with all the doors and window locked from the inside, and a man, shot and unconscious, still atop her. The man says he's innocent and his wife believes him. Harry will end up in jail himself and confronted by a deadly assassin before it's over.
