When 11-year-old Samantha visits her grandpas farm, she encounters Prince Buzznor, an Awokian who is on a mission to save his world from the warlike Zogs. Unknown to Sam, she has latent abilities that can save his doomed world. Sam faces hordes of catacomb dwarfs, vicious vampire bats, the monsters of the mineral flats, and the dangerous journey through the hostile Land of Geffen. Her quest ends when she finds the Crimson Crystal, the one weapon that can defeat Drogon, the tyrant leader of the Zogs. The battle is about to begin as Sam and the prince infiltrate gloomy Bottom World, the realm of the Zogs. They discover Drogon has nearly completed a secret tunnel through which his armies will invade the Awokians Crystal Kingdom. The armies clash while Sam faces the powerful Drogon alone, inside the Black Castle.
