Co-published with the Carl Michalson Society as a tribute to his memory as preacher and pastor, this collection of Michalson's sermons reflects his ideas about preaching: "The function of preaching is so to exegete the history of Christianity that it will be destroyed in respect of its pastness in order to bring the present time under the Lordship of Christ and into his new age."
