The Seventh Edition, Australian Native Plants has been fully updated.




With more than 250,000 copies sold since it was first published in 1979, it has become the standard reference for the growing of Australian native plants for homes, nurseries and libraries, and as a text book for horticulture in Australia.




The book considers and describes most species of native plants that have been brought into cultivation.




Over recent years there has been a revolution in the way botanists have classified plants, largely brought about by our study of DNA, changes in technology and a better understanding of the relationship between

plants and their evolutionary history.
