All of the photographs in this book were taken by Thomas Page Swaine, a photographer in Broadstairs from 1892 to 1913. He recorded streets, people and events throughout the Isle of Thanet. Barrie Wootton has gathered together the best of Swaine's images, researched the history behind each scene.
