Wong argues our notion of love has been influenced by modern technological culture and political ideologies to the detriment of familial relationships. He presents Christ's love as bearing the characteristics of fraternal, incarnational, and unfolding love. Through showing Christ's love we strengthen relationships and show Christ to the world.
