Legal Eagles: Working in the Courts
This manual is designed to help those persons interested in working in the UK legal field but who have some or no legal qualifications or practical experience or training. An increasing amount of the work done in solicitor's offices is done by paralegals or support staff without qualifications - and this book is designed to assist those people engaged in the litigation aspects of this work. The book not only aims to assist the student with the practical experience and functions of a paralegal but also to promote confidence so that the student can perform the tasks requested of him from the solicitors. Further this manual can be used as a guide when the student begins his career as a full time or freelance paralegal - including trainee solicitors during the early part of their training.
