Each work is preceded by an introduction containing pertinent historical background material and references. Each of the 58 works was reproduced as closely as possible to the original format.


Since the specialty of neurological surgery has changed significantly since 1940, the focus of Neurosurgical Classics II, is on more recent developments, especially those of present or historical importance to current neurosurgeons. This text is the perfect companion to Neurosurgical Classics.
