For almost a decade, the former gasworks in the west of Amsterdam (the Westergasfabriek) has hosted all manner of cultural activities in and around its buildings. This publication charts these developments in the context of the recycling of former docklands and industrial areas. Plans and designs for the park and its buildings are well documented.
