"Freedom or free, is not supposed to mean that restrictions on freedom in the US are not as bad as some other countries. This is not freedom, but merely a comparison of the restrictions on freedom; and then calling the least amount of restrictions freedom. With this thinking, the US is"free-er," by doing nothing as other countries fail.
