Swedish guitarist Ulf Wakenius approaches the music of his idol Paul McCartney in a wonderfully lyrical way. It's not about guitarist virtuosity, which Wakenius undoubtedly possesses. Wakenius lets McCartney's melodies sing on his guitar, with plenty of room for sound and atmosphere. And what a band: together with bass player Lars Danielsson and Magnus Öström, Wakenius forms a dream trio of three striking characters who are at the service of the songs and the interaction.
