U.S. Public Policy in an International Context provides readers with an overview of public policies and policymaking processes in the United States within a comparative framework. It provides perspective on how the United States compares with other countries in creating effective public policies related to a variety of issues of concern to citizens, scholars and government officials. The authors’ goal  is to enhance knowledge of U.S. public policy not only by writing about public policymaking in the United States but also by placing it in an international context with different political, economic, social, and cultural settings.
