"Badass Animals" is a celebration of 30 creatures great and small that are the equivalent of SEAL Team 6 and revered for their coolness, whether for their "don't give a crap" attitude or being a boozehound. Animals include the vicious cassowary bird, which is capable of delivering a fatal falcon kick to people; the mongoose, which fights snakes just because it wants to; the polar bear, the only animal in the world that actively hunts humans; and the caterpillar, which is a lot more insane than people may think. Facts on each animal are presented in an irreverent and playful style, with various pop-culture references, and also over-the-top illustrations for each.
