DNA Analysis at the Nanoscale
This book introduces readers to nano-scale physical phenomena that have been recently harnessed to enable exciting new DNA analysis capabilities. During the past decade, a combination of advances in experimental methods and theoretical modeling have made it possible to obtain a deeper understanding of these phenomena, overcoming previous barriers that have made it challenging to adopt them for practical use. These discoveries have opened up entirely new DNA analysis approaches, while at the same time reinvigorating existing "workhorse" methods by extending their capabilities beyond previously known limits.
