Times Fade Away: The Neolithization of the Southern Netherlands in an Anthropological and Geographical Perspective
This is a study of the southern Netherlands during the transition from Mesolithic to Neolithic. The data comes solely from flint scatters, studied both spatially and chronologically, over four levels of settlement size, allowing the researchers to 'zoom in and out' identifying patterns that can be used to determine economic behaviour. The book is richly illustrated throughout.
