Effects of Supply of Formal Care on the Use of Informal Care - In 16 European Countries
We know both the supply and the use of long-term care differs between countries; but their interdependency is not yet clear; nor do we know if and how changes in the supply of long-term care affect care use. The aim of this study is to gain more insight into the relation between the national supply of formal long-term care and the use of informal care arrangements by individuals in the Netherlands. We also want to determine whether the Dutch react similarly or differently to changes in the supply of formal care when compared with citizens of other European countries.
