Tous Les Laffly Militaires, 1914-1940
One of the oldest firms in the French automotive industry, Laffly started its business with road grading equipment and press rollers, one of which became the basis for an early tank during WW1. But most of all, Laffly is famous for its nimble all-terrain vehicles, with their characteristic rollers on the front bumper, in all forms and sizes, from small cars to the huge S45 T artillery tractor. These were indeed among the most remarkable equipment available to the French Army in 1939-40.
