JNCC has completed a project to map UK's seabed and water column. Based on GIS analysis of a variety of physical and hydrographic data, ecologically relevant maps have been produced. The maps show over 40 'marine landscape' types and have been validated with biological data. This report describes data and methodology used, and includes maps.
