Blanc Lines explores the blurred borders and intersections of different levels of consciousness. How does music reflect abstract thoughts and feelings arising in consciousness? The album's music brings invisible and new landscapes to the listeners that would otherwise not be noticeable to the listeners.

The first single release "Avayalik" was born as a result of the duo's spontaneous jamming. It laid the foundation for the atmosphere of the album and brought warmth and peace to the cold climate and busy life at the time of recording. The closing track of the album and the second single release "Counting Backwards" is built around an uninterrupted descending harmony. The uncompromising experimentation and open-mindedness of the composition process was carried through the entire record-making processs.
