Kôrôlén is a very special collaboration between two true musical titans: the Malian-born Grammy-award-winning Kora virtuoso Toumani Diabaté and the world-renowned London Symphony Orchestra, which has achieved global recognition through his classic performances on countless albums, films and stages. belongs to the traditional Griot family of singers, poets and instrumentalists; its musical ancestry can be traced back through generations. Today, he is known as one of the most creative musicians on the entire African continent, who almost single-handedly brought the iconic sound of the Kora closer to a worldwide audience. A great friend of cross-genre collaborations, he has recorded two Grammy winning albums with desert blues pioneer Ali Farka Tourè and has worked in various projects with international greats such as Taj Mahl, Björk, Béla Fleck, Damon Albarn and Afrocubism.
