Frontiers in Bioprocessing II
Presents the proceedings of a conference cosponsored by the Colorado Advanced Technology Institute and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Reviews recent advances that are expanding the envelope of bioprocessing technology, whether by technology pull or by market push. 32 chapters, each prepared by a conference speaker, address recent notable advances in six major areas: protein and enzyme engineering, biosensors and in situ measurement systems,
cell-culture systems, bioreactor engineering and control, bioseparations scaleup, and emerging technologies in bioseparations. A coherent interdisciplinary update covering a far broader range of topics than any previous volume on bioprocessing.
