The Thompsons redress this situation, offering 995 richly annotated entries on reference sources, biography, folk music and dance, the Puerto Rican Danza, La borinquena (the Commonwealth's official anthem), and the earliest mentions of native music and dance in the Antilles at the time of the Conquest.
