We all have a story to tell of life. My story is a journey through an urban community called Cherry Hill in Baltimore Maryland. I remember I had a teacher that told me that people aren't living in Cherry Hill, they are trying to survive in Cherry Hill. My neighborhood was filled of drugs, teenage pregnancy, police brutality, and a phenomenally high murder rate. Unnortunately, I lost family members; in particular two brothers and a sister, to the deadly disease of A.I.D.S. Additionally, I lost close friends to gun violence. Thanks to God that he covered me and allowed me not to fall victim to such a hostile environment.
