The author attempts to persuade that Francis Bacon is the true Shakespeare by using evidence from criticisms of both Shakespeare's work and that of Bacon, as well as historical knowledge of the Elizabethan time period. The author also draws intelligent comparisons between the stylistic qualities of both playwrights, as well as coming to philosophical conclusions concerning the matter.
