The Kevin Kevinson Story is a comic, mock-inspirational tale of one man tortuously overcoming impossibly ridiculous odds to realize a lifelong dream: Kevin Kevinson wants to play rugby for the Wallabies. From humble beginnings as the bastard child of a French/Pakistani whore, born in a run-down boarding house in Kings Cross, Kevin overcomes a series of absurd complications and setbacks to finally end up in the slightly less humbler position as abattoir floor cleaner and Grand Final winning goal kicker for the Wallabies: the Wombat Wallabies. The premise of a dark-skinned, clubfooted, illegitimate adopted son of gay parents (Bruce Kevinson & Kevin Bevan) transplanted to 1960s rural Australia is an amusing one. Kevin's extremely close relationship with a goat also lends itself to further hilarious circumstances.
