It's Olivia's birthday, and at last she'll get something she's always wanted - a new puppy. Olivia expects to go to a pet store to get her puppy, but her Aunt Clarissa takes her instead to the pet Rescue Shelter in their town. After learning about the shelters and meeting the many wonderful dogs in need of homes, Olivia must make a decision about her new pet.
