The Falcon with a Virgin's Face
Fifteenth century England is in turmoil with the noble houses of York and Lancaster vying for the throne. Following one of the bloodiest battles in history, an oxcart travels east from Skipton Castle. It carries a farmer, his wife and a seven year old boy. The boy is Henry, Lord Clifford, son of the man who has recently slain the new king's favourite younger brother. Henry is fleeing for his life and will be pursued for the next twenty-four years by Edward IV and Richard III. This is the stuff of legend.
