Just about in the middle of the east coast of Rhodes, a small rocky cape with two natural harbours on its north and south side became the place where Lindos flowered, one of the three original ancient cities of the island.
The book refers to Lindos' place in the history of the island and describes the Acropolis, the points of interest outside the Acropolis and the village.
It also includes a large fold-out reconstruction of all the buildings on the Acropolis of Lindos at the end of the book.
