How do designs evolve? How do designers and producers work? Nationalmuseum's restaurant in Stockholm is a new public living room and an explorative, tactile exhibition of contemporary design. The interior is the result of an artistic collaboration titled NM& led by Matti Klenell, Carina Seth Andersson, Gabriella Gustafson, Mattias Ståhlbom, and Stina Löfgren, who have worked with around thirty designers and twenty producers to create furniture, light fittings, and objects for the table. This richly illustrated book is the story of how it all came about.
