1930. In December 1929, Pope Pius XI issued an encyclical letter on education. This letter was the cause of the Supreme Council, 33rd Degree, Scottish Rite Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, at its session held in Dallas, Texas in September 1930, adopting a set of preambles, resolutions and declaration entirely at variance with the views expressed in this letter of Pope Pius XI. Found in this work are those preambles, resolutions and declarations, the Pope's letter, and three articles printed in various publications.
