The Hall of The Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers has for many centuries been a focal point for the trades of the guild. Publishers, booksellers, printers, bookbinders, papermakers, stationers, packagers - all have gathered there, for education, ceremonial and charity, social and commemorative functions. In this pictorial history, published to celebrate the Company's 600th anniversary, Vernon Sullivan, a past Master, describes the Hall's varying fortunes, including the Great Fire of London and the Blitz during the Second World War.
