Clerical Errors Secular Lies
When charismatic young priest, William Clifford, is brought before the Provincial Court of The Church in Wales accused of 'bringing the church into disrepute' the sleepy Welsh village of Rhagriff Bay becomes the focus of a media feeding frenzy. One journalist, though, is determined to ask questions about the truth behind the scandal. Is the priest really guilty as charged? Or is he, as he alleges, the innocent victim of a conspiracy? As the trial progresses, and with the help of two villagers, he uncovers a web of deceit that entangles all concerned, and from which no one emerges unscathed. The real story proves to be a catalogue of 'clerical errors and secular lies' that splits the community into two apposing factions.
