Engineering@work provides a book of Engineering case studies, complemented by a DVD Resource Pack that is also available, to give a real life context to studies.

Allows students to fully research the Engineering sector by:

• Providing links to and details about the engineering industry – giving case studies of eight real life companies.
• Providing real insights into the careers of industry practitioners (who also feature on the DVD) – allowing them to see the qualifications or courses required to achieve a position and giving specific links for further information.
• Explaining and contextualising the importance of the maths and science concepts behind engineering principles – helping your students come to terms with the demands of the subject.
• Linking directly to product and service case studies in the Engineering@Work DVD – considering what the product is, what it is used for and why?
