Is there anyone in the Florida Keys who is as they appear to be? This story makes one wonder. The Protagonist is hardly a hero, and the antagonists are certainly villainous enough. The narrator might be a hero, except he works for the Government and has no opinion one way or the other about good guys and bad guys except when it directly affects him.
Then, there is the FBI, DEA, Cuban DGI, Russian FSB, and several other alphabet agencies that are all chasing after a Cuban Government-sanctioned plot involving terrorism against the United States.
The story has sex and violence for those so inclined, but it also has a hint of fact hidden in the web of fictional intrigue and lies. It's up to the reader to discern the truth.
