Diversity is a buzz word in higher education, often characterized solely in ethnic or racial terms. Diversity, however, when properly understood, has a much wider scope; it can refer to cultural and linguistic diversity. Campuses can achieve greater diversity in the broadest sense by understanding how to internationalize higher education.
