This is an international, scholarly forum for all architects, planners, engineers, anthropologists, and geographers founded in 2009. "Candide" publishes research on architecture twice a year in German and English, responding to the growing demand for a medium that can foster and engage the culture of knowledge specific to architecture. Each issue contains five sections -- Essay, Analysis, Project, Encounters and Fiction -- challenging authors to approach architecture in multiple ways, observing, critiquing, speculating, narrating. Articles are selected through a double blind peer review. Issue Number 2 features following articles: Essay: Jonathan Phillips, Interindividual Explanations of Innovation in Architecture / Project: Angelika Schnell, The Socialist Perspective of the XV Triennale di Milano. Aldo Rossi and Hans Schmidt / Analysis: Anke Naujokat, Leon Battista Alberti's Technique of Architectural Collage / Encounters: Roberto Zancan and Matteo d'Ambros, In Conversation with Bernardo Secchi / Fiction: Joanna Zawieja, Houses.
