Anna Vladimirovna Potapova is the graduate of the St. Petersburg State Conservatoire, where she studied at domra and orchestra conducting classes till 1997. Simultaneously she taught at the Music School N 18 and the Rimsky-Korsakov Musical College.
Among her students there are the winners of the city and region competitions and festivals, so as the diplomants of the third and fourth International Andreyev Contest of Young executants on folk instruments.
The ensemble sphere has been stirring Potapova?s mind already for a long time. The orchestras and ensembles organized by her do not stop taking listeners? breath.
In 2002 the «Compozitor Publishing House ? St. Petersburg» issued «Pedagogical Repertoire for Domra and Guitar Ensemble and the educational aid «Domra from the Beginning» also prepared by Anna Potapova.
Today A. Potapova continues her pedagogical activity as the methodologist at the Educational Culture Centre. Her sphere is folk instruments and choral disciplenes.
