VP Records annual carnival compilation, Soca Gold is set for release - The collection boasts 18 of the genre's best releases for 2023 compiled from the latest crop of carnival winners. Soca Gold 2023 is a full hour of Soca sweetness celebrating the spirit of Carnival with the songs by the genre's most popular performers.

Heavyweights in the genre such as Bunji Garlin, Fay-Ann Lyons, Alison Hinds and Patrice Roberts are featured artists as well as guests to the genre.
