The suspicious death of developer Dickie Sutcliff leads Reverend Bryce Orr to play detective. His favorite suspect is childhood friend Julian Lyle, failed developer of Furnass Towers. However, things turn deadly when Bryce crosses paths with Julian's friend Kim Leong, a martial arts instructor out to avenge the disappearance of his daughter.
