In the summer of 1863, two Confederate agents come to Furnass to outfit Colin Lyles' steam-powered road engines with iron plate and newly developed Gatlin Guns, then deliver the war engines to General Lee as he invades Central Pennsylvania. However, involvement with Lyle's wife Libby and conflicting moral agendas threaten the secret mission.
