Nanoq is a lavishly illustrated account of the survey undertaken by artists Snaebjornsdottir and Wilson of taxidermied polar bears in the UK. It includes essays about taxidermy, trophy-hunting and the depiction of animals in art, alongside unpublished archival photography, stories of the bears' journeys and photos of them in their current locations.
