Laughter. Near the Edge of Insanity is a compilation Viet-nam war stories with a humorous twist. I know the author will squirm at this description, but here it is anyway: I found the book charming. It seemed more of a book of "oral history" with the intent to recount stories, just as they were re-membered. It gave me better understanding of the ways people cope with hor-rible situations as well as the creativity of the human mind. - The Eagle
